This program enables students to obtain an MA in International Relations by adding just one extra year after completing their bachelor's degree. Those who enter Syracuse University with ample Advanced Placement credits might finish both their undergraduate degree and the MA IR in just four years.
Students typically apply for the MA IR component of this dual-degree program in their junior year spring semester, after declaring their major and earning at least 75 undergraduate credits.
Prospective applicants should consult with the MA IR program's admissions director prior to submitting their materials. Required application documents usually include two faculty recommendations from Syracuse professors, a resume, a personal statement, and an academic transcript. Syracuse University students are exempt from submitting GRE and TOEFL scores.
