The Bachelor of Arts in International Relations offers a challenging yet adaptable curriculum, incorporating classes from various social science disciplines. Students have numerous opportunities, including studying overseas, completing internships, joining faculty research initiatives, and being part of the Model United Nations team.
To complete the major, students must earn either 33 or 36 credit hours and demonstrate competence in a modern foreign language. The program includes 3 foundational introductory courses, 3 advanced regional studies classes, 3 specialized topic courses, a research methods class, and a culminating senior seminar where students develop an original capstone research project.
