The Psychology/Human Computer Interaction (HCI) program is an interdisciplinary initiative co-administered by the Department of Psychology and the HCI Program. This accelerated pathway enables students pursuing graduate studies in HCI to earn both a bachelor's in Psychology and a master's in Human Computer Interaction more efficiently.
Psychology majors are strongly encouraged to gain practical experience within their specialization. Opportunities include collaborating with faculty on research initiatives or undertaking independent study projects. The department provides exceptional facilities for research across diverse fields including cognitive science, behavioral psychology, social psychology, psycholinguistics, human factors engineering, health psychology, and cross-cultural psychological studies.
