The Curriculum and Instruction Department provides Bachelor of Science programs leading to NYS teaching certification in various subjects for Childhood (1-6) and Adolescence (7-12) education, including languages, sciences, humanities, and TESOL (K-12). All programs combine pedagogical training with content area studies, with encouragement for secondary majors in specialized fields for certain certification tracks.
