You can craft a customized major by combining courses from multiple departments or programs, creating a unique academic path not available as a standard offering at Suffolk. Working closely with faculty advisors, you'll outline a semester-by-semester roadmap for your specialized major. Upon approval, you'll pursue this tailored curriculum and culminate with an interdisciplinary senior capstone project. Applications should be submitted by the end of sophomore year at the latest. This program leads to either a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree
To qualify as a CAS Self-Designed Major, the program must: Fulfill all Bachelor of Arts or Science degree requirements, Comprise at least 40 credit hours, Incorporate coursework from a minimum of two departments or distinct programs (as outlined in the double major policy).
