Suffolk University offers an accelerated path to complete both your bachelor's degree and a Master of Science in Crime & Justice Studies (MSCJS) within five years.
This combined degree program is available to criminal justice and sociology students who have completed at least two criminal justice electives. Upon acceptance, you'll enroll in two graduate courses during your senior year before finishing your master's studies in a fifth year (full-time)'reducing both duration and costs.
During graduate studies, you'll delve deeper into crime and justice with specialized tracks in victim advocacy or youth, crime, and justice. Practical experience is gained through our internship opportunities.
The Sociology & Criminal Justice Department provides courses at all levels covering subjects like Youth in American Society, Women and Crime, and Restorative Justice. The department hosts initiatives including the Center for Women's Health and Human Rights, The Women and Incarceration Project, Our Bodies Ourselves Today, and numerous other dynamic programs.
