As an Honors Program student, you'll have the opportunity to examine the connections between history and literature through this distinctive interdisciplinary program. The experience starts with two foundational courses: the Literary Criticism Seminar and Gateway to the Past: The Historian's Craft. You'll then select courses from both history and English disciplines, opting to focus on one as your primary major while minoring in the other, or potentially pursuing dual majors. The program concludes with a capstone thesis project, allowing you to deeply investigate a subject of personal or academic significance within these fascinating areas of study. Throughout your journey, you'll receive guidance from dedicated faculty advisors in both departments.
