Our Program equally emphasizes the interconnected areas of bioethics, medical humanities, and compassionate care, addressing today's healthcare challenges where both patients and professionals often feel the system lacks humanity. We take an interdisciplinary educational approach, with faculty specializing in Medicine, Ethics, History, Law, Literature, Philosophy, Religious Studies, Social Sciences, and Disability Studies. Our clinical faculty combine humanities perspectives with their practical healthcare experience. Ideal candidates for the program include: 1.) practicing MDs, RNs, JDs, PhDs, and other professionals looking to enhance their expertise, 2.) medical students and those in professional degree programs related to healthcare, sciences, humanities, pastoral care, law, business, social work, or journalism, and 3.) post-baccalaureate students transitioning from undergraduate studies to professional degrees who want to broaden their understanding.
