This 54-credit program targets Master's-educated nurses pursuing research and teaching careers in healthcare and academia, expanding upon their graduate-level research training. Delivered through a full-time, cohort model with weekly on-campus sessions and digital enhancements, the program progresses through three stages: Core Studies, Research Proposal, and Dissertation. Students typically complete coursework and proposal development in two and a half years, followed by dissertation work. The Office of Nursing Research supports doctoral candidates and faculty through administrative assistance, grant development, statistical guidance, and research dissemination via conferences and publications.
