The undergraduate program awards a Bachelor of Science degree with a social work major (BSW). This two-year upper-division full-time program incorporates 12 credit hours of supervised field placements (internships) at healthcare facilities, mental health centers, social service agencies, and related organizations. First-year coursework emphasizes social work methods, human development and social systems, political economy, social work research, along with health and social policy studies. The second year continues with advanced practice courses and offers numerous elective options.
