The Media/Art/Culture program is an interdisciplinary specialization combining art history, film and media studies, and hands-on studio work in photography, film, and digital media. This curriculum examines media, technology, and art through the lens of social and cultural developments. Participants critically analyze the convergence of digital art, media, technology, and society while developing technical abilities to produce original digital content across various formats - from writing and photography to interactive and web-based media. The program fosters collaborative, project-oriented learning where students develop teamwork abilities and design thinking approaches applicable to modern professional environments. Throughout their studies, from foundational to advanced levels, students compile a portfolio showcasing both analytical and creative work. During their final year, faculty-guided capstone projects enable students to apply their knowledge of digital media's history, theory, and application while acquiring comprehensive production experience. Designed with adaptability in mind, these culminating projects serve multiple purposes: graduate school applications, art grant proposals, exhibition submissions, or professional portfolio samples. Graduates emerge prepared for diverse career trajectories spanning artistic, historical, technological, and media-related fields.
