The Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Engineering Management program equips students to conduct innovative research and sophisticated design work that pushes the boundaries of engineering management in diverse fields including finance, production, policy-making, and service industries.
This doctoral program focuses on a systems-oriented curriculum that blends management principles, technological expertise, and social science perspectives. To be considered for admissions, applicants must have an ABET accredited bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering or science.
Master’s degree in a related area is strongly recommended.
English language proficiency students must score at least 74 on TOEFL iBT, 550 on TOEFL PBT, 6 on IELTS.
Applications are accepted in a rolling admissions process throughout the school year, due to limitations in available faculty advisors it is strongly encouraged that students complete their application submissions by March 15 for entry in the fall semester and by August 15 for entry in the spring semester.
