The Ford Dorsey Master's in International Policy (MIP) is a two-year, intensive graduate program. Students earn their M.A. by fulfilling core and elective requirements, selecting a specialization track, and completing a final capstone project. Designed with an interdisciplinary approach, the program encourages cross-disciplinary studies across Stanford's academic departments. The Energy, Natural Resources, and Environment specialization is overseen by FSI's Center on Food Security and Environment (FSE) and Program on Energy and Sustainable Development (PESD). Participants take two mandatory courses and select at least three electives from the approved options, totaling no fewer than 20 academic units.
