The doctoral program aims to equip students with comprehensive expertise in materials science and engineering, preparing them for successful research careers. To engineer effective nanoscale materials, we need complete insight into atomic and molecular configurations. Our research employs electron microscopy and spectroscopic techniques to analyze nanomaterial properties. Through composition and trait analysis, we assess their potential across multiple applications. We pinpoint critical material properties at nanoscale dimensions that are significant for microelectronics, biomaterials, quantum systems, MEMS technologies, organic and quasi-one-dimensional devices, and thin film materials.
