Develop the skills to strategize, create, and execute sophisticated economic and technical management frameworks. The bachelor's program in Management Science and Engineering aims to equip students with core principles of engineering systems analysis, enabling them to strategize, create, and execute sophisticated economic and technical management frameworks. The curriculum expands upon essential engineering prerequisites such as calculus, fundamental engineering concepts, and physics or chemistry, alongside management science principles. Participants undertake required coursework in accounting, computer science, economics, ethics, organizational behavior, mathematical modeling, optimization techniques, probability theory, and statistical methods. To tailor their educational journey, students choose supplementary courses from various departmental disciplines, focusing more intensively on one specialized area.
A high school diploma or the equivalent is required in order to enroll at Stanford. Generally, we receive English proficiency exam results (TOEFL, IELTS, Duolingo English Test, etc.) from applicants whose native language is not English and/or the primary language of instruction at their secondary school is not English.
