Get ready to integrate eco-friendly design, approaches, and methods into both natural and constructed systems and infrastructure, including buildings, water resources, and coastal areas. The goal of the Environmental Systems Engineering undergraduate program is to educate students in applying sustainable environmental design, tactics, and techniques to natural and built systems and infrastructure related to buildings, water supply, and coastal zones. Through a curriculum that features a capstone project, the program strives to prepare engineering students to tackle the intricate issues of the 21st Century concerning natural and built environments, whether in consulting, industry, or graduate studies.
A high school diploma or the equivalent is required in order to enroll at Stanford. Generally, we receive English proficiency exam results (TOEFL, IELTS, Duolingo English Test, etc.) from applicants whose native language is not English and/or the primary language of instruction at their secondary school is not English.
