The Engineering Physics curriculum caters to students with a strong interest and ability in both engineering and physics. It starts with a foundational year of mathematics and calculus-based physics, followed by advanced courses in physics and engineering, along with electives in a chosen specialization such as Aerospace Physics, Biophysics, Computational Science, Electromechanical System Design, Energy Systems, Materials Science, Photonics, or Renewable Energy.
A high school diploma or the equivalent is required in order to enroll at Stanford. Generally, we receive English proficiency exam results (TOEFL, IELTS, Duolingo English Test, etc.) from applicants whose native language is not English and/or the primary language of instruction at their secondary school is not English.
