This pre-professional curriculum maintains equilibrium between the core principles shared across civil engineering specialties while offering focus areas in structural/construction or environmental/water disciplines. The undergraduate Civil Engineering program's objective is to equip students with engineering fundamentals and methodologies essential for professional practice. This educational track balances foundational knowledge applicable to multiple civil engineering specializations while providing concentration options in structures/construction or environmental/water studies. Students develop the ability to implement mathematical, scientific, and engineering knowledge to perform experiments, design structural systems that innovatively address engineering challenges, and communicate solutions effectively. The program incorporates coursework spanning structural, construction, and environmental engineering, preparing graduates for positions in consulting firms, industrial sectors, government agencies, and advanced engineering studies.
