Enhance your skills in merging engineering and architecture to create designs that fuse creative architectural concepts with advanced engineering solutions. The Architectural Design undergraduate program aims to cultivate students' capacity to combine engineering and architectural principles, marrying inventive design approaches with state-of-the-art technological advancements. The curriculum pairs practical architectural studio work with diverse supplementary classes. Learners have access to an extensive selection of elective courses covering topics like energy efficiency, sustainable practices, building infrastructure, structural systems, alongside foundational design and fine arts classes. Beyond equipping students for advanced architecture and construction management studies, the program's rigorous math and science components also provide strong preparation for graduate programs in disciplines like civil engineering, environmental engineering, law, and business administration.
A high school diploma or the equivalent is required in order to enroll at Stanford. Generally, we receive English proficiency exam results (TOEFL, IELTS, Duolingo English Test, etc.) from applicants whose native language is not English and/or the primary language of instruction at their secondary school is not English.
