Delve into the principles and research behind human behavior. The undergraduate Psychology program aims to familiarize students with behavioral theories and scientific investigations. This encompasses areas like aging processes, personal achievement, childhood development, cognitive functions, conflict resolution, cultural influences, decision-making patterns, emotional responses, group dynamics, mental health, identity formation, early childhood, linguistic abilities, memory systems, moral reasoning, motivational factors, personality traits, psychological disorders, racial influences, self-concept, social cognition, visual interpretation, and related subjects. Students gain expertise applicable to careers in tech, business, therapy, education, policy-making, legal fields, healthcare, as well as advanced psychological studies.
A high school diploma or the equivalent is required in order to enroll at Stanford. Generally, we receive English proficiency exam results (TOEFL, IELTS, Duolingo English Test, etc.) from applicants whose native language is not English and/or the primary language of instruction at their secondary school is not English.
