Numerous environmental issues, obstacles, and regulations emerge in rural areas where farming and forestry operations coexist with non-agricultural residents. Various rural land practices can negatively impact the environment, making the creation of eco-friendly and sustainable production techniques a key objective of environmental initiatives. As part of this focus area, students will explore the relationships between environmental protection, agricultural output, and the mechanisms of policy formation and implementation.
