A key objective of the Organizational Training and Development (OTD) Bachelor's Degree program is to acknowledge previous professional education and training by awarding academic credit for relevant work history. Certain students may complete their bachelor's degree in as few as 36 semester hours. The program offers both standard and Capstone pathways, with course delivery available on-campus, at satellite locations, and through digital platforms.
The OTD program caters to graduates holding Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, and Associate of Applied Science degrees, along with individuals possessing corporate, apprenticeship, proprietary, government, or military training and work backgrounds. Those with Associate of Arts or Science degrees, or students completing University Core requirements, typically choose the OTD Regular track. Graduates from Associate of Applied Science programs or other career-focused degree/certificate programs generally select the OTD Capstone pathway. Prospective OTD students who minor in WED are classified as OTD program participants.
