Computer Science is a dynamic, demanding, and fulfilling academic discipline. The School of Computing provides an extensive selection of courses encompassing all key domains of computer science, such as programming, database management, network systems, visual computing, game development, software design, AI algorithms, cybersecurity, automation technologies, web development, cognitive computing, hardware architecture, and computational biology. Our Computer Science Program equips students with state-of-the-art resources for classroom instruction, practical laboratories, and research facilities.
Undergraduate students can pursue two distinct degree options through the School of Computing's Computer Science Program - the Bachelor of Science and the Bachelor of Arts.
The Bachelor of Arts curriculum emphasizes interdisciplinary applications of computer science, allowing students to combine their studies with a complementary focus in fields like business, engineering, natural sciences, education, humanities, or media studies. This requirement can be met through pre-professional tracks (medicine/law) or by completing a minor in related disciplines, subject to credit hour fulfillment. A specialized business applications track prepares students for accelerated graduate studies, potentially leading to an MBA degree with just one additional year of study.
