With global partnerships spanning Europe, the Pacific Rim, and Mexico, this cross-disciplinary program draws international students. The curriculum covers diverse artistic disciplines ranging from jewelry fabrication and precision metalwork to specialized blacksmithing techniques.

Alumni have achieved notable careers in educational institutions, museum curation, and as independent practicing artists. Our program remains the sole national provider of an MFA specializing in blacksmithing.

Qualification Requirements

A completed application for admission. Current, official transcripts from each high school and college youve attended. All transcripts must be issued within the last 30 days and be contained in official sealed envelopes or sent through an electronic transcript system. A final high school transcript will be required upon graduation and completion of all high school course work. An official copy of ACT or SAT scores. These must be sent directly from the testing organization or listed on your official high school transcript. English Language Requirements: TOEFL - 68 on the internet based test, TOEFL - 520 on the paper-based test, IELTS - 6.0
