From emergency response to combating illnesses, public health safeguards and enhances the well-being of individuals and their communities in every aspect of daily life. This includes administering vaccines to halt disease transmission or raising awareness about substance abuse dangers. Public health professionals also establish workplace safety regulations and create school meal initiatives to promote proper nutrition for children. SAU's Public Health Program prioritizes advancing community wellness through proactive disease control measures.
SAU's public health education integrates multiple fields of study to comprehensively tackle community health challenges. Alongside fundamental public health classes, the curriculum features instruction in nursing, life sciences, behavioral studies, social sciences, healthcare disciplines, and leisure activities. Students complete an advanced public health internship, highlighting SAU's dedication to fostering professional growth, practical skill-building, and responsible community engagement through hands-on experience.
Students must have official transcripts and marks from your high school or college/university. We require a 2.0 minimum GPA for all the incoming freshmen students.
Minimum English Requirements (must meet one of the following)
A score of 500 or higher on the written TOEFL
A score of 173 or higher on the computerized TOEFL
A score of 61 or higher on the internet-based TOEFL
A score of Band 5.5 (overall) on the IELTS
A score of 43 or higher on PTE (Pearson Test of English)
A score of 90 or higher on Duolingo
