The music program equips students with the expertise to excel as skilled musicians, music instructors, and competent instrumentalists, showcasing both performance abilities and musical understanding. This focused track supports students aiming for advanced performance degrees by intensifying study on their principal instrument.
Alumni exhibit comprehension of music's fundamental structures and organizational frameworks, applying these in auditory, verbal, written, and visual assessments while showing familiarity with music history, diverse performance styles, and contemporary repertoires. They can integrate theoretical principles with historical contexts when adapting musical arrangements, creating basic compositions, and improvising, utilizing technology and online tools to enhance learning in music theory, arrangement, and performance.
Program graduates acquire comprehensive musical knowledge and competencies.
Students must have official transcripts and marks from your high school or college/university. We require a 2.0 minimum GPA for all the incoming freshmen students.
Minimum English Requirements (must meet one of the following)
A score of 500 or higher on the written TOEFL
A score of 173 or higher on the computerized TOEFL
A score of 61 or higher on the internet-based TOEFL
A score of Band 5.5 (overall) on the IELTS
A score of 43 or higher on PTE (Pearson Test of English)
A score of 90 or higher on Duolingo
