The growing global economy is driving higher demand for students skilled in international business. This specialization equips students with a robust business foundation while fostering cultural competence. Graduates will be qualified for roles in globally operating companies of all sizes, including positions as management analysts, retail traders, and various opportunities in logistics, supply chain management, as well as international marketing and management.
Alongside fundamental business coursework, students will incorporate foreign language studies and either study abroad programs or other cross-cultural experiences into their curriculum.
During the initial two years of a four-year business program, students complete a diverse array of courses. Advanced business classes in the upper years include both core subjects for all business majors and specialized courses concentrating on international business.
Study abroad options range from short university-sponsored trips to full semester programs abroad.
Students should begin preparing for semester-long international study during their second year.
Each student receives an advisor to assist with course selection, professional guidance, and career planning.
