This program fulfills the requirements for an Associate in Arts degree with a focus on Kinesiology, Sports, and Exercise Science. As a pre-major track, it prepares students to transfer as juniors to four-year institutions offering kinesiology or related programs. Kinesiology explores fundamental questions like: How does exercise influence aging? What physiological changes occur during relaxation? How does the human body adjust to environmental pressures? The field examines human movement through multiple scientific lenses. Degree candidates gain deep knowledge of anatomy, physiology, motor control, and health optimization. The curriculum covers diverse subjects including biomechanics, disease processes, and nutritional science. Graduates can pursue various professions such as physical therapy, sports medicine, athletic training, coaching, physical education, occupational therapy, and rehabilitation. With advanced study, this foundation may lead to careers in orthopedics or specialized sports medicine practice.
Applicants can apply who are high school graduates; or 18 years of age or older.
We accept an IELTS score of 6.0 overall with 5.0 or higher on the writing section, or a TOEFL (iBT) score of 64 overall with 17 or higher on the writing section.
