The Wine Production Associate of Applied Science Transfer (AAS-T) program provides foundational training in winemaking techniques and knowledge. Participants explore the entire wine production process, from vineyard management to bottling, while learning modern winery operations and daily procedures. The curriculum covers wine chemistry principles and their application in production choices, along with how grape-growing methods influence wine characteristics. Beyond theoretical instruction, students gain practical experience through year-round involvement in our advanced commercial teaching winery's operations.
Premium grapes contributed by Washington's top vineyards allow students to participate in harvesting, processing, fermentation, and final production stages.
This program prepares students with job-ready technical abilities while also creating pathways for those interested in pursuing a Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) or transferring to a four-year university.
Applicants can apply who are high school graduates; or 18 years of age or older.
We accept an IELTS score of 6.0 overall with 5.0 or higher on the writing section, or a TOEFL (iBT) score of 64 overall with 17 or higher on the writing section.
