The Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Welding Fabrication Technology program offers comprehensive instruction in welding and fabrication processes, covering blueprint interpretation, operational sequencing, geometric applications, thermal impacts and metal characteristics, component arrangement, alignment techniques, assembly procedures, joining methods, and material transport.
Upon completion, students qualify for careers as welding technicians, metal fabricators, workshop managers, cost estimators, or business proprietors in industries including marine construction, vehicle manufacturing, industrial equipment production, fishing apparatus, pipeline networks, and structural development and upkeep. The curriculum readies participants to successfully complete welder certification examinations administered by the Washington Association of Building Officials (WABO).
Applicants can apply who are high school graduates; or 18 years of age or older.
We accept an IELTS score of 6.0 overall with 5.0 or higher on the writing section, or a TOEFL (iBT) score of 64 overall with 17 or higher on the writing section.
