The Department of Natural Resource Management provides advanced degree options in Biological Science with a Natural Resource Management focus, as well as Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences. These programs offer both Master's and Doctoral degree opportunities.
The Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences Master's program prepares students for leadership roles in government agencies, private sector organizations, or further academic pursuits. Through tailored coursework and faculty guidance, we help students enhance their analytical skills for addressing natural resource challenges and stakeholder interactions. All candidates must design and complete an independent research project. Graduates with this degree consistently secure employment as fisheries biologists, wildlife specialists, and other natural resource professionals within public and private sectors.
Program Learning Objectives
Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of biological systems at the Master's level.
Communicate effectively through both verbal and written formats.
Student must have a bachelor's degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0 to receive unconditional admission.
A minimum TOEFL score of 525 paper-based, 197 computer-based, or 71 Internet based, or IELTS score of 5.5.
