South Dakota State University's Sport and Recreation Administration program develops future leaders for careers in collegiate athletics and community recreation. Through coursework and hands-on internships, students learn essential skills in areas like management, marketing, facility operations, financial planning, legal considerations, and research. Beyond classroom instruction, participants gain practical experience through partnerships with organizations both on campus and in the community. Graduates leave the program with versatile skills ready for diverse professional opportunities in the field.
Student must have a bachelor's degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0 to receive unconditional admission.
A minimum TOEFL score of 550 paper-based, 197 computer-based, or 79 - 80 Internet based, or IELTS score of 6.0.
