The Natural Resource Law Enforcement Program was created through collaboration with state and federal agencies and stands as one of just five comparable programs nationwide. The coursework establishes a comprehensive academic base combining natural resource management, conservation biology, environmental policy, and criminal justice. Hands-on training equips students with practical job skills while fostering professional connections with potential employers. Throughout this degree program, students will cultivate abilities in communication, conflict management, collaborative work, ethical leadership, legal frameworks, data analysis, technical proficiency, cultural awareness, analytical reasoning, and solution-oriented thinking. Those pursuing the Natural Resource Law Enforcement degree can also choose to combine it with a Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences major.
