The program takes place in a cutting-edge facility equipped with advanced instruments including Eppendorf Benchtop Fermentors, Media Plate Pours, and NanoDrop systems. Participants can earn two certificates and an Associate Degree in Biotechnology Manufacturing. Additionally, the AS degree enables students to transfer to Solano Community College to complete their Bachelor's Degree. The Biotechnology Manufacturing Assistant Certificate provides foundational skills and hands-on training for entry-level positions in the industry. This program exposes students to modern biotechnology practices and emerging trends. Through our partnership with the Bay Area Bioscience Education Community (BABEC), students obtain practical work experience while mastering good manufacturing practices (GMP), including proper documentation and adherence to standard protocols. Graduates will be fully prepared for entry-level roles in manufacturing.
