The Associate in Arts in Kinesiology for Transfer (AA-T) program at Skyline College is designed for students planning to transfer to a California State University (CSU) with a Kinesiology or related major. The curriculum covers fundamental human anatomy and physiology, kinesiology's various subfields, its socio-cultural and historical context, sports injury management, and nutrition. These courses count as lower-division credits toward a Kinesiology bachelor's degree. Graduates will gain essential knowledge to further specialize in their chosen kinesiology concentration.
While AA-T graduates secure admission to the CSU system, specific campuses or majors aren't guaranteed. Those admitted to accepting CSU campuses typically need just 60 additional units to complete their bachelor's. This pathway may not suit students targeting particular CSU locations, private universities, or non-CSU institutions.
