Our students explore the complex interplay of political, economic, social, and cultural dynamics between nations, along with the global influence of non-governmental entities. Through initiatives such as the Warburg Program where you gain insights from ex-U.S. Ambassadors and prominent figures in commerce and public policy plus hands-on experience with local and federal government internships, our curriculum merges academic knowledge with practical career skills.
We host leadership-oriented events featuring influential speakers like Former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton and feminist icon Gloria Steinem. The international relations program helps you develop your political perspective through debate forums, community governance involvement, and student government participation.
You can pursue International Studies either as an independent minor or as a specialized track within the Political Science degree program.
