Get ready for a Geography Studies major by completing suggested courses that satisfy transfer degree prerequisites. Geography explores the planet and its populations through an interdisciplinary lens. With two primary focus areas—human and physical geography—students examine natural environments, weather events, climatic shifts, alongside city growth, cultural roots, population patterns, migration trends, economic disparities, and resource allocation.
The Associate in Arts - Direct Transfer Agreement (AA-DTA) falls under Shoreline's General Transfer program, structured to fulfill the initial two-year coursework needed for most bachelor's degrees.
