The School of Mechanical, Aerospace, and Materials Engineering offers graduate students exceptional opportunities to participate in cutting-edge research while working alongside faculty and peers. Students can pursue either a Master of Science (M.S) in Mechanical Engineering or a Ph.D. in Engineering Science with a Mechanical Engineering specialization. Our curriculum caters to diverse interests and academic backgrounds, delivering modern resources for academic achievement.
The graduate program covers specialized areas including nano-materials, composite materials, ceramics, tribology, mechanical systems design, computer-aided engineering, computational modeling, thermal-fluid dynamics, non-destructive testing, emissions control, transport phenomena, coal processing, electrochemical technologies, thermal system optimization, solar energy systems, and biochemical engineering. Additionally, we provide an expedited pathway to earn a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
