The Bachelor of Science in Education (B.S.E.) for Integrated Early Childhood, Elementary, and Special Education with a Speech-Language Pathology Concentration combines undergraduate teacher training with a master's degree (M.S.) in speech-language pathology. Students who meet the dual degree criteria during their undergraduate studies gain guaranteed entry into the graduate speech-language pathology program. This combined B.S.E./M.S. pathway offers graduates two professional options focused on helping others—either through teaching or speech-language pathology. The undergraduate curriculum blends elementary and special education with general studies, a content major, and speech coursework, featuring extensive hands-on learning in diverse school and clinical environments. Upon completion, undergraduates qualify for at least two teaching certifications.
