Our COAMFTE-accredited program equips students to pursue licensure as marriage and family therapists (LMFT). The Master of Arts in Couples and Family Therapy (MACFT) focuses on strength-based systemic approaches, trauma-informed practices, social justice principles, and developing resilient practitioners. Students learn assessment, diagnosis, consultation, and treatment methods for individuals and relationships under the supervision of state-licensed and AAMFT-approved clinicians. The curriculum incorporates self-reflection and person-of-the-therapist work to enhance clinical awareness. Graduates develop skills to support and empower clients from diverse backgrounds, including various ethnicities, gender identities, and religious traditions.
