This program is tailored for students pursuing an Associate of Science - Track 2 degree with an Engineering focus. Participants will explore how mathematics, scientific principles, and hands-on practice combine to create, enhance, and maintain innovative products that benefit society. The curriculum offers diverse engineering applications through courses in natural sciences, computer science, mathematics, engineering disciplines, and beyond. Graduates will be prepared to transfer as juniors to four-year institutions for engineering or related studies, while also gaining access to numerous engineering career paths.
The Bio/Chemical Engineering track offers multiple professional possibilities, such as:
Bio Engineering - Specializations in Biomedical, Biochemical, Biological Systems, Bioprocess, Biotechnology, Biomechanical, and Environmental Health.
Chemical Engineering - Career paths in Plant Design and Operation, Safety Evaluation, Process Development, Modeling/Control Systems, Chemical Reactions, and Nuclear Engineering.
