Metal Foundry Work
Glass Forming Techniques
Metal Fabrication and Forging
Site-Specific Installations
Community-Based Art Projects
Innovative Media Approaches
Eco-Conscious Art Methods
BFA candidates focusing on Sculpture are urged to integrate their three-dimensional work with other disciplines like textiles, pottery, functional design, apparel, and beyond. Foundational sculpture classes are advised for all first-year students, offering exposure to the discipline's core principles and contemporary discourse. Those specializing in Sculpture progress through beginner, intermediate, and advanced studio courses. The curriculum includes specialized undergraduate seminars ranging from Sophomore Studies to Career Development and culminating in the Senior Thesis project. Exceptional undergraduates may qualify for our Advanced Sculptural Practices Studio through application—this intensive program provides dedicated workspace for concentrated study under faculty mentorship within a tight-knit peer community.
