The Computer Network Engineering certificate program prepares individuals for careers in designing and maintaining computer networks. Students can earn this certificate as a stepping stone before completing their Associate of Science degree.
Program Objectives -
Demonstrate fundamental knowledge of computer hardware and software to set up, diagnose, and oversee residential and small office network systems.
Create, troubleshoot, and sustain network infrastructures for small and mid-sized businesses by implementing proper IP configurations and selecting suitable networking equipment and applications.
Recognize potential security risks in network systems, select appropriate protective tools based on security needs, and implement safeguards to defend against network breaches.
When faced with network engineering challenges, employ analytical reasoning, troubleshooting methods, and clear communication to develop effective solutions.

High School/University Transcripts
Equivalent of a 2.00 US GPA.
Transcripts for all coursework completed in high school (upper-secondary), English language programs, and university or college. Transcripts should be translated into English by an official translator and/or translating agency.
Unofficial transcripts are sufficient for admission purposes.
Official transcripts are required for athletic eligibility, and may be submitted at a later date.
If you are under 18 years old during your first semester, a copy of your high school diploma is required at least one week before the semester starts.

Studied for a minimum of 3 years with all subjects in English at an international secondary school.
Attended a US high school or secondary school in a country where English is the primary language of instruction for at least one year.
Completed all years of study in a secondary school in Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Finnish, German, or Dutch countries and received passing grades in English.
Attended a U.S. college or university for at least one semester (non-ESL courses).
Attended at least one semester of non-ESL courses at a college or university where English is the primary language of instruction.
