The School of Justice Studies (home to the Administration of Justice Program) aims to equip students with the legal, ethical, and academic foundation needed for careers in criminal justice and seamless transfer to four-year degree programs. The field of criminal justice offers diverse employment opportunities across federal, state, and local agencies, including the FBI, Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Border Patrol, California Highway Patrol, municipal police forces, county sheriff's offices, and correctional institutions at both state and federal levels.

The Associate in Science for Transfer degree in Administration of Justice gives students the fundamental knowledge required to smoothly transition into bachelor's degree programs at any CSU campus. This specialized transfer degree (AA-T or AS-T), available at California Community Colleges, guarantees admission to a CSU campus in a related field of study (though not necessarily a specific location). Graduates with an AA-T or AS-T receive priority admission to comparable programs and enjoy GPA benefits when applying to competitive CSU campuses or majors.
