The Associate in Science for Transfer degree in Physics equips students with core competencies needed to seamlessly continue their education toward a Bachelor's Degree at any CSU institution. This specialized transfer degree, offered at California Community Colleges, guarantees admission to the CSU system in a related field (though not to a specific campus). Transfer students benefit from priority admission to comparable programs and receive GPA advantages when applying to competitive CSU campuses or majors. Prospective AA-T or AS-T candidates should consult with an academic counselor to fully understand this transfer pathway's requirements and benefits.
Graduates of high schools or equivalent are eligible for admission, with the equivalent of a GPA of 2.0 or better.
Students must be 18 years or older by the start of the semester without restrictions.
