Geology is the scientific study of Earth. It represents a systematic understanding of our planet - encompassing its mountains, plains, oceans, and atmosphere. This field examines the impacts of natural hazards like earthquakes, landslides, floods, and volcanic activity. Additionally, it explores methods to preserve and safeguard our planet's delicate geological systems.
Planetary science focuses on investigating the formation of galaxies and the cosmos, including the fundamental principles governing these celestial structures.
Graduates of high schools or equivalent are eligible for admission, with the equivalent of a GPA of 2.0 or better.
Students must be 18 years or older by the start of the semester without restrictions.
