Being a biologist in the modern era presents a thrilling and impactful career path. Breakthroughs in biological sciences are addressing critical issues across healthcare, environmental conservation, agricultural development, and human-environment interactions. Our Biological Sciences Department provides comprehensive instruction in diverse fields including general biology, plant sciences, human anatomy, microbial studies, ecological systems, ocean life sciences, evolutionary anthropology, as well as specialized pre-professional programs for medical, dental, chiropractic, veterinary, and rehabilitation medicine pathways.
Graduates of high schools or equivalent are eligible for admission, with the equivalent of a GPA of 2.0 or better.
Students must be 18 years or older by the start of the semester without restrictions.
