The Photography program is thoughtfully structured to develop core technical abilities with 35mm and medium-format cameras, encompassing both traditional and digital systems. All courses highlight creative expression and innovation through sequential conceptual projects. Students gain essential knowledge in digital imaging, post-processing techniques, digital output, and color management starting from introductory levels and continuing through advanced coursework. The curriculum explores photography's historical significance in visual arts and media while establishing proficiency in digital workflows applicable to professional environments. Our cutting-edge facilities feature professional-grade digital labs and darkrooms with archival printing capabilities up to 44 inches wide, ensuring comprehensive career preparation. The program now offers nine additional specialized elective courses tailored to industry needs.
Graduates of high schools or equivalent are eligible for admission, with the equivalent of a GPA of 2.0 or better.
Students must be 18 years or older by the start of the semester without restrictions.
