The MSSE program, delivered by the Computer Engineering Department, gives students a learning experience that expands on conventional computer science and engineering while adopting a holistic software engineering perspective. This curriculum combines the factors driving software evolution, such as new technologies, with insights into fast-evolving tech and architectures and their impact on development processes. Here, large-scale design takes priority, component and service integration becomes the norm, and the software development landscape grows increasingly globalized.
U.S. bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution, or the completion of a 4-year bachelor’s degree from a recognized, accredited, and approved institution from a country outside of the U.S. A 2.5 GPA (from the 0.0-4.0 U.S. grading scale) in the last degree completed or a 2.5 GPA in the last two years of full-time study.
English Language Proficiency: IELTS: 6.5; TOEFL – 80 (IBT), paper based – 550, Computer based – 213; Pearson Test of English (PTE) – 53.
