The Master of Science in Geographic Information Science (MS GISc) is a one-year graduate program provided by the Department of Urban and Regional Planning. This focused curriculum teaches students spatial theory, reasoning, and GIS applications for problem-solving and decision-making. The program integrates diverse coursework in GISci, statistics, computer science, geography, and urban planning through eight advanced-level classes. Qualification Requirements

An undergraduate degree in Environmental Studies or related field from an accredited institution.
A minimum 3.0 (B) overall grade point average for the last 60 semester units of academic study at an accredited institution.
Undergraduate GPA Requirement: Applicants must have completed a Bachelor's Degree program with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (4.0 scale).
